2021 Kia Soul

All-new last year, the Kia Soul enters 2021 as a carryover with only minor enhancements. The Soul GT-Line Turbo is simplified to Soul Turbo, which is inclusive of revised badging on the grille, steering wheel and rear lift gate.

Remote start, previously only available as part of the UVO telematics system, is now also integrated on the key fob for EX and Turbo models. Rear Occupant Alert is now standard across all variants. The X-Line and GT-Line 2.0-liter models with 18-inch wheels add standard RS valves to the shock absorbers for improved ride comfort.

For its current generation Soul, Kia took everything that helped popularize the quirky, unconventionally styled subcompact and poured more of its soul into nearly every inch of the vehicle, resulting in a third-generation that continues to transcend unmatched style, peppy performance, thrilling technology, and urban practicality.

Music has been an overarching theme for Soul since its inception, and it's no different this time around. For the third generation, designers and engineers turned up the volume on the interior design.

Soul enhances its fun-to-drive personality and versatility with different drivetrain combinations. Kia's Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) is now available on the Soul for those who require efficiency with their zip. Designed and built in-house, the IVT is Kia's unique version of a continuously variable transmission that provides an engaging driving experience.

The standard engine is the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine hooked to a 6-speed manual transmission or Intelligent Variable Transmission. It delivers 147 horsepower, 132 lb-ft. of torque.

For those who desire more zip, a turbocharged option is also available. The 1.6-liter twin-scroll turbocharged I-4 GDI engine paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It produces 201 horsepower, 195 lb. ft of torque.
